Aggelos Kiayias is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Connecticut. Aggelos was the Co-Program Chair of the 2004 ACM Digital Rights Management Workshop, and, more recently, he was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award for studying the cryptographic aspects of digital rights management (DRM).
Aggelos holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. from the City University of New York, and a B.S. from the Mathematics Department of the University of Athens. His doctoral study in cryptography was supported by a Fulbright Fellowship. Aggelos' research is on cryptography and security, with a special focus on cryptographic protocols with provable security. He has published many articles on encryption, with applications to DRM systems, privacy primitives, digital signatures, and electronic voting systems. |
